I Love my Angels

I have had so many miracles happen to me in the past week I don't even know where to begin. I want to write down my experiences because I don't want to forget them. I wrote before about the book I have been reading called Remembering Wholeness, and in this book it talks about ways to bring Christ into your life more and calling upon the energy of his atonement daily. It also talks about petitioning your angels for assistance and receiving help on a daily basis. Well, every morning when I wake up and say my prayers over the past couple of weeks, I have asked my Father in Heaven to allow my angels to help me with different areas of my life. I had such a great experience the other day... I was so excited. So I was reading a chapter in this book about the energy of making more money. She gave the example that money is really energy and we need to tap into that energy in a positive way if we want to make more of it. So then she gives this visualization about imagining that your wallet is full of $100 bills. Imagine that you are giving these $100 bills to people and things that you desire to have or give to. As you give away the money you imagine that more $100 bills are coming back into your wallet. So I did this for a few minutes and thought that was easy. Later that night Shon and I received a $100 check in the mail from a family member. It was unexpected and really I was floored. I just laughed and thought that was so much fun. I am amazed at how much assistance we are give spiritually and temporally, we just have to be humble and ask for it. I know that God wants to bless us in all areas of our lives. I have really been praying to feel the love of the Savior and power of his atonement stronger in my life. It is one thing for me to believe and then it is another thing to be full of the Spirit where the feeling and power of the Holy Ghost enters into your body...every cell and confirms to you that what you are doing, what you believe is right. I love that feeling and I know it is possible to have it all the time. The test or the talent is to be able to live a life worthy and align with Gods so that we can "always have His spirit to be with us." I love that part of the sacrament prayer. I feel that is the greatest gift that God has given to me in my life. The gift of the Holy Ghost. Because of that one gift, my life is able to move forward in a direction that wouldn't be possible without the Savior. I love to know that I can always become better. That I don't have to settle for mediocrity. I love knowing that my potential is endless and the gift of the Holy Ghost is my guide to get there. I believe that in the past I was given several spiritual experiences but failed to recognize them. Now that I am paying attention I feel like my eyes are opened. God is so good and I am grateful that I am stepping up and being a part of this great miracle called life.
